Terms of service

1. The service

uVPN routes your internet traffic through a server we operate, so that the sites you visit see that server's address instead of yours. It is intended for ordinary private browsing by adults.

2. What it does not do

A VPN is not anonymity. It does not make you untraceable, it does not protect you from malware, it does not prevent a website from identifying you when you log in to it, and it does not exempt you from any law that applies to you. Do not rely on uVPN for safety in circumstances where being identified would put you at risk.

3. Your private access code

There is no conventional account, username, password or profile. Your private access code activates devices and opens subscription management. If you lose it and did not give us an email address, we may be unable to identify your VPN access.

4. Payment and renewal

• The annual plan charges $2.99 immediately, covering seven days. If you have not cancelled by the end of the seventh day, it renews automatically at $39.99 per year.
• The monthly plan charges $4.99 immediately and renews every month.
• Crypto access costs $19.99 upfront for six months or $39.99 upfront for twelve months. Crypto payments do not renew automatically.
• All prices are in US dollars. There is no free plan.
• The $2.99 introductory price is available once. If we can see that an introductory period has already been used by the same subscription, payment method or device, you can still subscribe, at the standard price.
• The seven-day introductory offer sold on this website is a paid offer, not a free trial. If you subscribe through Google Play instead, Google may offer a seven-day free trial in the territories where it makes that trial available. That is a separate Google Play offer with its own terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow our acceptable use policy. We may suspend a subscription that breaches it.

6. Devices

A subscription may register up to five devices, with no more than two active VPN connections at once. The first redemption creates the primary device. Additional devices are paired from it using a one-time code that expires after ten minutes. Recovery with the permanent access code revokes all existing devices before binding a replacement primary device.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may add, move or remove server locations.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewal charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise or where uVPN made a duplicate or incorrect charge. See the refund policy.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
